Emma is a Project Geotechnical Engineer/Geologist within WSP’s Geotechnical and Tunneling National Business Line. She has successfully completed various field programs involving mud rotary, hollow stem auger, and solid stem auger drilling techniques. Her logging experience includes handling, transporting, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and data entry using California Department of Transportation and ASTM standards. She also has field experience with construction subgrade inspection, temporary soil nail wall installation, emergency slope failure inspections, and EDDTEX pile installations. She has also completed seismic-induced liquefaction settlement, slope stability, and cast-in-drilled-hole design calculations.
